The new Eurostock 336S for 2023 is now available with folding alloy decks and a full width external deck ramp. The trailer is the optimum size 12′ x 5’8″ to maximise the capacity within 3500kg gross weight. Larger trailers have a greater unladen weight, reduced payload and potential instability if the livestock move to the rear. The width is adequate for cattle to turn inside but not too wide to impede rear visibility or manoeuvrability.
The trailer offers the following features:
Fully folding decks with no loose parts or gates to fit.
Centre divider gate for use with sheep and can be used full height for cattle when required.
Rear cross gate incorporating a ramp fort he upper deck and a lower gate enabling the lower section to be filled first and closed whilst the remaining sheep are loaded on to the top deck.
Standard aerodynamic front with a hinge down vent flap providing air circulation to both decks.
Sliding side vents are positioned high on both decks to avoid them being blocked by animals.
The rear deck ramp is raised and lowered manually using a lever at either side. No gas struts, springs or catches to fail.
Low profile ramp with no rear protrusions or large feet, allowing it to be used on uneven ground and raised loading platforms often found in markets and abattoirs.
Low floor height, low centre of gravity and triple axles for excellent stability when moving livestock.
Front inspection doors both sides which can be opened during loading allowing more light and making it more inviting for the stock. They also make it alot easier to pressure wash the trailer from the front.
Front storage area with two gates in the bulkhead permitting stock to be driven out without entering the trailer.
One piece alloy treadplate roof providing space for bales and light hurdles if required (hooks can be fitted to the sides for hurdles as an option).
The decks can be fully deployed and stored within one minute. The front and rear halves can be used independently, half deck and half full height.
The sheep divisions can be removed and stored in the front if not required although the maximum pen length for sheep is 10′.
Full road lights including outline markers and side reflectors. Interior lamp, heavy duty ribbed jockey wheel, front mounted spare wheel and a lockable coupling.

From Jan 2020 all platform trailers are fitted with new load securing rails under the body, these incorporate laser cut plates for attaching ratchet strap hooks to, replacing the rope hooks. This offers a more versatile load securing system as well as adding strength to the trailer side rail, mudguards and light plates,
Alloy wheels are now available as an option on our hydraulic tilt trailers, as well as being very smart and stylish they increase the payload of a three axle trailer by about 20 kg. Price £270 extra for a set of six. Complete alloy wheels with tyres are now available from stock at £130 each + vat. (for photographs of a trailer fitted with alloys, see hydraulic tilt, PT66).
Trailer registration is not required for trailers used in the UK or between the UK and Ireland and trailers for private use internationally. However from March 2019, it will be mandatory for all commercial use trailers travelling internationally that weigh over 750kg in gross weight ( category 02). Registration is also mandatory for non-commercial use trailers that travel internationally and weigh over 3500kg in gross weight (03).
Other trailers that weigh over 750kg in gross weight can be registered on a voluntary basis even if they are not travelling abroad. Registration will be valid for 10 years.
Apart from the registration certificate, number plates must be made up and displayed in a visible and vertical position on the trailer. This is separate to the existing number plate of the vehicle pulling the trailer.To date, DVLA states that there is no requirement to illuminate the trailer registration plate.
The trailer’s number plate must be fixed as far as reasonably possible from the towing vehicle’s registration plate. If the plate cannot be displayed at the rear of the trailer, a trailer registration plate must be fixed to both sides of the trailer so they are both clearly visible.
It is recommended to also display the UK’s recognised distinguishing sign GB
Trailers can be registered on the DVLA web site, you will need the name of the manufacturer, the trailer vin number, the gross weight and the un laden weight.
The new Eurostock 336, has all the features of the 326 but with 3 axles and a maximum gross weight of 3500 kg. The trailer has 3 x 1300 kg axles with 165 x 13 8 ply tyres, with reinforced aluminium tread plate mudguards. Everything is designed to make livestock transport easier and safer with a safe environment for the stock. The roof is full height across the width maximising headroom. The vents are high up on both decks to stop them being blocked by the animals. Handling is safer with the opening doors and the front bulkhead, which also improves ventilation fully across both decks. The stock can be safely driven out without entering the trailer. Our professional range of canoe and kayak trailers offer excellent build quality functional designs and everything you need from a trailer that is well suited to group and centre use.
These trailers feature heavy duty galvanised steel construction frame throughout. The new adjustable height loading bars are fitted with a duty rubber padding for protection and non slip loading of the canoes or kayaks. With tie points well placed securing your load is easy.
One of the other great features of this trailer is a full lockable solid box under the frame, meaning you can carry paddles and other kit keeping it clean and securely out of sight. The box has three top loading doors plus a rear loading door allowing access to kit even when the trailer is fully loaded.
The trailer has a telescopic front jockey wheel, auto reverse overrun brakes, full road lights and the spare wheel and number plate clips all mean you are ready for the road.
All trailers supplied with an EU certificate of conformity.
Deauville and Ascot horse trailers are now available with full aluminium plank floors as an option. The plastic and steel composite floors, fitted since 2007 have proved to be very successful will continue to be fitted as standard. The alloy floors can be fitted to order at £100 + vat. All our trailers manufactured after October 2012 have European whole vehicle type approval and are supplied with a certificate of conformity. It is compulsory for all new trailers used in Europe to be manufactured to comply with the latest technical specifications and have type approval. Registration is not required in the UK. but can be obtained for most European countries by submitting the certificate of conformity.
Trailers manufactured before October 2012 can still be registered in Europe but will have to be taken to the equivalent of an MoT test station fir examination before the relevant paperwork is issued.
Livestock Trailers are available with a hinge down front flap across the top front. this is held either closed or open by gas struts, eliminating any rattle and with no catches or fasteners. When open it reduces wind resistance and improves ventilation in hot weather. Security is maintained by fixed galvanised steel rails across inside the front. The option is available on all livestock trailers from model 30LT to 48HB.
