20MD General Purpose

20MD

Model 20MD is manufactured as small and light as possible to enable a 1.5 ton excavator to be transported with a gross trailer weight of less than 2 tons, allowing it to be legally used within the train weight of most popular vans. The length is also restricted so that the load is always positioned correctly giving a drawbar load of approximatly 150kg to ensure safe stable towing every time.

The heavy duty 10" wheels are closer together and this combined with a longer towbar will safely accommodate varying vehicle coupling heights often found on the varity of vans used by utility companies.

The sides and mudguards are laser cut steel, strong enough to stand on. The centre floor is expanded mesh for safety and to reduce the build up of dirt and weight. The whole trailer is fully welded and hot dipped galvanised.

If a lighter machine is carried, the trailer gross plated weight can be reduced to be compatable with the train weight of smaller towing vehicles.
