40HB Livestock Trailers
9' x 5' x 7' Livestock Trailer for use with cars and light vehicles (can accommodate horses)
Model 40HB is primarily a Livestock Trailer with increased headroom, If it is supplied without the lower vents and with a breast bar and divider rail, it will accommodate two horses up to 16 hands. The trailer can also be fitted with optional,removable rubber floor mats fitted over the standard alloy tredplate floor.
All models have a hot dipped galvanised chassis and are panelled with 2mm toughened alloy sides and a plastic coated galvanised steel roof. The floor is 18mm Phenol coated panels covered with aluminium tread-plate. The rear ramp is non slip timber on HB models being more suitable for horses but the alloy ramp door, usually fitted to LT trailers, can be fitted as a free option.
The 40HB is fitted with full width independent suspension axles and auto-reversing brakes. A front jockey wheel, side door, ramp side gates, locking hitch and a spare wheel are all standard.
A cross division gate is available as an option. Maximum permitted pen lengths are 12' for cattle, 10' for sheep and pigs and 8' for calves.
The 40HB is available with simple lift out decks with a rear ramp section.
